Forgive me for being so lame this Wednesday. The lack of luster to find a unique WTF piece  is due to the lack of rest that the human body deems necessary to operate properly... Long story short I took the easy way out this Wednesday. I promise I will make it up to you... Hopefully you at least chuckle... or not. Peace out Doebotz!!!

Stop looking at my tailpipe FREAK!!!

This guy may have some issue's, but who am I to judge...

Talent TuesdayZ – Welcome to the world of Spoiled or Rotten

DBZ: So DeaO, where are you from originally and where are you presently located?
SOR: Born in Greensboro NC, raised in Virginia Beach, and presently living on the outskirts of DC.

DBZ: How did you become interested in your craft?
SOR: Basically I'm a student of culture. I create my own interpretations of what matters the most to all of us. Painting and printing is something I have always wanted to use as mediums to convey certain ideas. I feel that as concrete as some thoughts can be, changing the medium in which they are presented can change the original thought entirely. I started drawing at a young age and my talents were nourished. As time went by things started to add up and here we are.

DBZ: DeaO would you mind sharing some history of any accomplishments small or large?
SOR: Was in a few Art shows in Richmond, worked at Commonwealth boutique VA a few years, taught Art at Lake Taylor High, Norfolk VA. Put together the brands SPOILED OR ROTTEN and PRODUCT LOG1C. Presently part of a design collective known as Mangoseed Studios, and also a Published Illustrator.

DBZ: What are you working on now or have in the pipeline?
SOR: Right now, my main goal is go create a collection of prints that is more along the lines of the PRODUCT LOG1C ideals. A clash of cultures using patterns mute colors and decadence. Most of the first series is done and will be printed up soon. SOR is what I feel will be the most prominent work. I also am working with DOEBOTZ on a few collabs, from the pre responses I'm getting, they are going to turn a few heads. I'm very excited about that.

DBZ: What is your ultimate goal you wish to reach?
SOR: I just want to help everyone in the best way I can. Honestly, I find success in people gaining inspiration. I was helped by my peers and it's my duty to do the same. For the work to be recognized is good enough for me.

DBZ: Feel free to add anything extra that you would like people to know.
SOR :Watch for the Doebotz Collab in spring. Take a listen to VANZ Illuminated Manuscripts EP ('96 type fire), VANZ has more on the way. Check out the homies at NOAHLARMZ.com as well, crazy talented group of individuals that are going to take the world by storm. Shouts to INDI:VSBL MEDIA.

Talent TuesdayZ… Jamaul Smith aka”iLL jAM aRT”, artist /designer /illustrator!!!

DBZ: So Jam!!! Where are you originally from, and where do you reside now days?

Jam!!!:•Born in a little town in New Mexico
Jam!!!:•Presently located in Prince George's County, MD 2 min from Washington DC.

DBZ: How did you become interested in your craft?

Jam!!!: •Third grade, there was an assignment to draw your rendition of the mayflower.  My friend Lewis at the time was already known in the class for his doodles and sketches.  I wanted to see if I could draw like him.  So not to one up him but, I went to the library and found one of those "How to draw...." books and checked the one out on boats and ships.  After a few hundred times of tracing every page, I begin to draw my rendition of the mayflower which resembled a pirate ship w/o the skull and crossbones.  The teacher was in awe and my classmates never looked at me the same, neither did Lewis.

DBZ: So Jam!!! what are some accomplishments you have made thus far, small or large?

Jam!!!: •Graduated from Syracuse University 05' BFA Illustration
Jam!!!: •I've been featured in a few magazines, live shows and editorial pieces here and there.  Done work for clothing lines in the DMV reaching as far as LA.

DBZ: So what are you working on now & what do you have in the pipeline?

Jam!!!: •The major push right now is a company named Focsi (Fox-see) which will be making major moves in the art world for many years to come.  I'm also working closely with Doebotz on designs for up coming years.  Really, 2011 and beyond will bid to be the break out era because the people want it, the people need it.

DBZ: What is your ultimate goal that you wish to reach?

Jam!!!: •The goal is to be the best version of myself by getting better and better with each day. I will soon be a household name as an artist/designer/illustrator and running empires, calling the shots, and spreading inspiration to all those who wish to be inspired.

DBZ: Hey Jam!!! feel free to add anything extra that you would like people to know.

Jam!!!: •One thing about life, not only pertaining to the arts is that its all about who you know.  You an be the most talented, most gifted, but if you don't have that marketing niche, it doesn't matter.  I've seen this countless upon countless of times.  Being in the DC Metro area where working in the government reigns supreme, i was once told "No one will hire you with an Illustration degree."  I didn't take offense because that is the mindset of this area, and I knew that moving back after college.  The opportunities are limited.  But I was determined to making it work.  This is the capital of the country, a great place to thrive and live abundantly.  I am going to make this a place for artist coming out of school and looking for a career that isn't associated with just government contracting.  There are a plethora of other possibilities out there, we'll just have to work together to make this happen.
