Nike’s tribute to Film Icon Spike Lee (Air Safari)

December 4, 2009 by

As part of their ongoing series of releases paying tribute to cultural icon Spike Lee, Nike are set to drop these special Air Safari 87s. Featuring the familiar colour blocking of the original orange wonders, these retros have been given a healthy dose of Jordan red, while the tongue tag features Lee’s trademark thick-rimmed specs. Do the right thing and pick yours up later this month from selected Nike dealers. Thanks to Kix and the City & Sneakerfreakers for the news.nike-safari-spike-lee-4-1nike-safari-spike-lee-2-1nike-safari-spike-lee-3-1nike-safari-spike-lee-1-1

The “Uno Bike”? Cool or Stupid?

This is actually my first time seeing this... Last year the Uno Bike was only a concept, but now it is reality! This Uno Bike starts off like a uni-cylce, but once it reaches 2o mph it transforms, as shown below. 500x_unicycle2_01500x_unicycle1_01

Amie Street, better than itunes??? Pretty Cool!

December 3, 2009 by

Those of you who are sick of paying .99 cents for a song, yet feel slightly guilty ripping off quality music from struggling and underground artists using illegal downloading programs and torrents, Amie Street Music is a perfect alternative. Amie Street is an online music store organized similar to itunes, except way less corporate and significantly cheaper. At Amie Street, most songs began very cheap or even free, and the price increases as the popularity of the song does.

The Classic Long Board (skateboard)

Longboarding became popular in the mid 1950s and was often compared to surfing on concrete but it somewhat fizzled out. Because of its length and weight it is extremely difficult and somewhat impossible to do most skateboarding tricks. However their ressurestion is becoming increasingly popular. I'm no skateboarder, but i love to see these classics roll by...longboarder_small

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 hardened edition. I bought it. I played it. I loved it. The hardened edition is a bit more than the regular, but its worth the extra bucks...
