So, I have decided to post a few video's every Thurzday until we have paid our utmost respects to The Greatest Age of Hip - Hop, The Golden Age! I will also post separate Throwback ThurzdayZ artifacts & memorabilia aside from hip -hop. Well letz get it movin'... this should be really fun, nostalgic, and informative for those young'nz! lol

What'z good fellow Doebotz? I am very pleased to introduce a very good friend of mine Sicks Dot. I have known this dude for almost 10 yearz now (WOW). I still remember when I first heard Sicks spit when we were kik'n it at Bayside in downtown Miami... I was like, sh*t what in the h*ll are you doing? Why no deal yet? We politic'd on the ups and downs with in the music industry and saw i 2 i on many topics, and thatZ when I truly recognized that Sicks had a good head on his shoulderz and would not just dive at any deal thrown his way. I had come to learn and witness multiple labels try'n to sign him to their rosters. Slip n Slide & Ruff Ryderz just to name a couple. Well time is still ticking and Sicks is still grinding, take a second and peep his music below, you will not be disappointed.

I honestly love "HIP - HOP"! I am not just talking about the music, but the entire lyfestyle! Q-tip (of A Tribe called Quest) said it best for me, " Kids in the ghetto did not have the money to buy instruments, so their voice became the instrument"! With that voice they assisted in the creation of "A symbolic artform called Hip Hop" (not a word 4 word quote). Letz travel back through time to remember, learn, & pay homage to the creator of the very influential movement labeled Hip Hop...

I came across this video while I was on YouTube. WOW! One of my childhood friends Kahry and myself were just talking about this subject a couple weeks back. I agree with this video 100%. I am from the era of real hip-hop (Krs-1, Tribe, Jeru, Gangstarr, Rakim, L.O.N.S., and many, many more) not this craziness they call hip-hop today! I am not a hater on these young cats getting their money, but there is a bigger picture it's not just me, me, me... Think!
